The Mets still have a chance at making the playoffs although it’s not a good chance it’s still a chance which means they will be showing up to win. The Public has been pounding the Nationals but the Sharps are on the Mets causing reverse line movement. Scherzer has been off this season and I wouldn’t expect him to give it his all or even go deep in this game being his last start of the season. The Nationals have had a terrible year and they do not have much to play for at this point. Look for the Mets to win as long as their starting pitching gets the job done.

Philadelphia Phillies @ Tampa Bay Rays

The Phillies are in a must-win situation against the Rays. The Public has been pounding the Rays but Sharps are on the Phillies causing reverse line movement on this game. The Rays just locked up the division title so they are not going to be playing to win nearly as bad as the Phillies. The Rays will probably be resting players to get ready for the playoffs. Morton has also been terrible this season with a 4.64 ERA and getting about 4 innings per average start. Bryce Harper has been hot and he has a .500 batting average on Morton. Look for the Phillies to go hard on this one. If their bullpen doesn’t blow the game they should be able to get the win. The Phillies First 5 innings is also a good option.

Houston Astros @ Texas Rangers

The Astros have struggled against Texas this season but after the pounding of Lance Lynn yesterday it appears the offense is back on track. Houston is still in the playoff picture if they keep winning. The Astros have a team batting average of .333 against Texas’ Kyle Cody and the Rangers have a .097 against Houston’s Jose Urquidy. Houston is trying to show the world they can win without cheating but their bullpen is terrible. If the bats can get a big lead it should be an easy win. Houston First 5 innings is also a good option.
