Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints – NFL Football Prediction

4:25 p.m. ET: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-1) at New Orleans Saints (4-2)

Spread: Buccaneers -4.5
Total: 49

The Buccaneers offense has been clicking in the home games averaging over 40 points per game but on the road, the Bucs are averaging just 23.7 points per game. Rob Gronkowski (ribs), linebacker Lavonte David (ankle), and cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) should be back in the lineup. The Saints didn’t practice Wednesday after playing on Monday night in Seattle, are also getting key players back – in addition to re-acquiring veteran running back Mark Ingram from the Houston Texans on Wednesday along with Marcus Davenport, Erik McCoy, and Terron Armstead returning. Winston has avoided the turnover problems that plagued him during five seasons in Tampa after being the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2015. He has 13 touchdowns and just three interceptions. The Saints came out of their bye week much healthier, though the offense didn’t exactly light up Seattle in a tough spot on the road with bad weather. The Saints’ defense was good against the Bucs last year, averaging less than 300 yards per game in 3 matchups. The Bucs have rolled against bad teams but barely beat the Cowboys and Patriots, while losing to the Rams. The Saints have a chance to win this game but look for the cover.
