Ohio State pounded Bowling Green 89-58 on Monday, showing growth after emerging from the close call against the Zips and struggling to put away the Purple Eagles. Ohio State is playing slightly better than Xavier on defense and is miles ahead on offense. Ohio State should have no problem putting up points in this game while leaning on the defense to keep Xavier from scoring as they have against weaker opponents.  Ohio State has a Player of the Year favorite in EJ  Liddell, who is averaging 22.3 points per game while shooting 59.5%.  Xavier has not yet had a real test to start the season as the Musketeers have played only Niagara and Kent State. Take the Buckeyes to get the win tonight.
