NCAA Championship College Basketball Betting Analysis for April 4th

Kansas

9:20 p.m. ET: North Carolina Tar Heels (29-9) vs Kansas Jayhawks (33-6)

Spread: Kansas -4
Total: 152

The Jayhawks are looking for their 4th national title after beating Villanova 81-65 in the Final 4. Bill Self has brought Kansas to the Final Four for his fourth time but has won just one national championship in 2008. The Jayhawks focus on shot quality more than volume. They’re making 40.6% of their threes in the tournament. The Tar Heels are shooting 36% from three in the tourney. The Tar Heels’ Caleb Love (18 of 50) and Brady Manek (19 of 40) have combined to attempt just one fewer 3-pointer than the entire Kansas team during the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels have a talented roster backed by Bacot, Love, and Manek but we’ll see how the big man Bacot is running the court after rolling his ankle at the end of the Duke win. Kansas has a roster that is even more loaded with several players that will possibly be in the NBA including Agbaji, McCormack, Wilson, Martin, and possibly Braun. Agbaji is the man for Kansas and when he is rolling he can’t be stopped as we saw against Villanova’s top defense. The only way UNC stays in this game is if Kansas is having another terrible performance from the foul line. Kansas has been shooting only 60% from the free-throw line so far in the tournament. This is the championship game so of course, anyone can win but you are better off taking the better team with more talent and the better coach on the bench. Look for the Jayhawks to win the title and cover the spread tonight.
