Atlanta Braves vs Houston Astros – MLB World Series Prediction

EMAILED ON October 27, 2021

Atlanta Braves vs Houston Astros – MLB World Series Prediction

8:09 p.m. ET: Atlanta Braves  (96-76) at Houston Astros (102-71)

Odds: Braves +105 / Astros -115
Total:  8.5 -115 / -105

Houston’s Urquidy made his last start of the regular season on Oct. 3 against the Athletics and didn’t appear in Houston’s ALDS victory over the White Sox. He pitched in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Red Sox on Oct. 18 when he allowed six runs on five hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings. The Braves will counter with lefty Max Fried, who is 1-1 with a 3.78 ERA over three starts this postseason.  Fried is 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA over 15 career postseason appearances. In Fried’s last start against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he went 4.2 innings giving up eight hits and five runs. The early public bets are coming in on the Astros to even the series but sharp money again is pouncing on the Braves with 42% of the bets but getting 49% of the money. The Braves bats have been lighting it up and the Astros pitching has been struggling. Look for the Braves to get to Urquidy for another win to take a 2-0 lead in the World Series.

The Bookie:          Braves +105 / Over 8.5 -115
Fade the Public:   Braves / Over
Sharp Action:       Braves / Over
