Houston Astros at New York Yankees – Game 4 – ALCS

Houston Astros at New York Yankees  8:08PM

ALCS Game 4.  Houston leads 2-1.

Yesterday’s game was rained out and postponed giving each team and pitcher an extra day off. Greinke and Tanaka both take the bump tonight to face off in Game 4 of the ALCS.  Houston leads the series 2-1.  The weather does not have rain in the forecast but the wind is expected to be blowing out to right field something fierce to the range of 15-18 MPH.

Considering both of these teams have big bats along with the hefty wind, the over looks to be an easy choice.  But, keep in mind that in the playoffs they will use as many pitchers as necessary to win the game and keep the runs from going around the bases.  The O/U opened at 8 at most books and the number has moved its way up to 8.5.

Both teams have a career .250 batting average against their opponents this evening. However, Greinke has ERA of  4.50 in his last 3 outings and Tanaka only a 1.00 ERA and if he has another outing like his last the Astro’s might have a hard time scoring.  The Yankees will be bringing their bats today and put in all efforts to even the series at 2-2.
